Masu binciken sunyi nazarin nazarin dabbobi na 22 da kuma nazarin asibiti na mutum 14 da ke binciken tasirin probiotics akan damuwa. Kodayake masu binciken ba su iya samun tabbataccen shaida a cikin binciken ɗan adam, sun gano cewa ƙwayoyin cuta, musamman waɗanda ke ɗauke da Lactobacillus (L.) rhamnosus, sun rage yawan halayen damuwa a cikin binciken rodent.
